            Description

            In the civicrm-drupal repository, the branch 8.x-master does not have 7.x-anything as an ancestor. This will complicate merging improvements made to the 7.x branch into the 8.x branch in the future.

            But then Drupal 8 might be so different from Dupal 7 that it is unrealistic anyways.
