            Description

            I am deliberately removing define functionality introduced in Jun 2012 under CRM-3268 in order to simplify the code. CRM-3268 was closed without being completed, and discussion covers the setting in another area of code, which no longer exists. The effect of the code seems to be to suppress group functionality on the contribution search back to a prior version of it

            I do not believe anyone has been making use of this undocumented feature that I had never previously heard of. Should it turn out to be in use by anyone I would support them adding a setting to keep it.
