contribution batch update: can't unset thank you date value

            Description

            to reproduce:

            1. conduct contrib search.
            2. select records with an existing thank you date
            3. choose "update multiple contributions" action
            4. choose a profile that includes the contribution thank you date (may need to create0
            5. try to unset the thank you date (remove the existing value) and save

            the existing value is preserved instead of being overwritten/removed.
