Issue with mailing labels with default contact search profile

You can reproduce it on the public demo http://dmaster.demo.civicrm.org/.

• Create a custom profile, containing the field 'postal code', and set it as default contact search profile (Administer, Customize data and screens, Search preferences).
• Search some contacts using e.g. advanced search.
• Sort the contacts on postal code
• Try to create mailing labels for all found contacts.

You get this error message:
