custom date fields in on-behalf-of forms broken

to reproduce:

• create a custom data date field attached to organizations
• create a profile for the purpose of an on-behalf-of form. include the org name and your newly created date field
• create a contribution page, enable on-behalf-of, and use your new profile
• open the contrib page, fill out the fields and advance to the confirmation step

the custom date field selection widget will be present and you can choose a date. when you advance to the confirmation step, the value is lost.

I've tested the field as part of the main profile and it's not an issue. the problem seems isolated to its use in the on-behalf-of profile form.

Eileen McNaughton I'm guessing this might be related to the recent work you did on the date widget? it appeared for one of my clients when upgrading from 4.7.16 to 4.7.19, so the regression happened somewhere within that range. I'm able to reproduce on a clean install of 4.7.19.
