smart group with event relative dates do not populate correctly in form view

to reproduce:

• go to advanced search (or Find Participants), open the Events panel, and choose a relative date range for one of the date fields. for example, registration date = last 12 months
• save the results as a new smart group
• visit manage groups and view contacts for the group
• click edit smart group criteria
• open the events panel and observe the date field

the criteria summary on the search will correctly display the relative date range, and the search itself is correct. but when you view the form fields the relative date range is not selected and partial static dates are present in the range fields. if you don't need to alter the group criteria it's not an issue, as the values are stored correctly and the search results are accurate. but if you do need to view/edit the form values, your date field settings are lost.

as far as I can tell the issue is limited to event fields. I ran some tests with the change log date field and membership dates, and they were retained correctly.
