Advanced Search Address Field and Custom Field menus do not open

            Description

            The address field and customer field drop down open function does not operate reliably. When you click the banner or chevrons for these fields you sometimes see an advice saying "loading" and sometimes the window does not open to reveal the search criteria. Sometimes it does.
            This phenomena is experienced and replicated in three separate browsers: Safari 3.0.2 (522.13.1), Firefox 2.0.0.1 and Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11 - all on an XP platform.
