CRM-21154 Joomla administrator can't download custom files

            Description

            Steps:

            • Install on Joomla
            • Create custom field set, with a file field
            • Upload file, and attempt to download
            • Generates access denied, as missing /administrator in file path (User is logged into back end and not front end)

             

            CRM/Core/Bao/CustomField - 1463 - Changing front end from TRUE to FALSE corrects the issue. May have adverse side effects by applying this fix.

                Adam, I was previously seeing this same issue on Joomla, with Civi 4.7.31 I think (or 4.7.30 perhaps). I just checked again and on 5.0 I can no longer reproduce it. Could you check and see if this is still an issue for you? After installing 5.0 I would have cleared caches & rebuilt menu.
