            Description

            make changed to civicrm core so that it can be run from sites/all/modules directory . Being able to run from that location - improves reporting of version and automatic updates.

            Modules that could be used with civicrm to main it up to date.

            1. Update status module (http://drupal.org/project/update_status) can check on civicrm version and indicate if at current revision
            2. Module installer. http://drupal.org/project/module_installer
