Description
Even though the registration opening date for an event is set for the future (i.e. registration isn't active yet), the Register Now link still appears (instead of say a message stating that online registration will begin on the opening date).
Obviously, users will click this Register Now button and when they do so, CiviCRM fails with a Fatal Error message.
I've included a screenshot of the backtrace message in case it is useful.
