have to create a profile field multiple times before it saves

Hi,

I am creating civicrm profile fields out of custom fields/locations. I have to add fields (like 'city'), multiple times before it saves. If I bypass the step and create fields directly in the DB it works ofcourse..

I have enabled smartdebug on but I don't think it does anything for form save issues. I can provide ssh access to devs if needed
