Boolean (Yes/No) strings not translated on inline custom fields

1)
When viewing a contact a custom boolean data is not translated ("Yes" and "No"), when editing the contact this boolean field is translated correctly. (recreated on sandbox: new custom data->Yes/No-> when viewing Janet Demouser with localization de_DE active the Value "Yes"/"No" is not translated)
