Description
In working with this thread, http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,3444.0.html, I got to thinking about a migration assistant component for CiviCRM. Since 2.0 did such a great job with an automated installer, is there any way there could be a similar utility that could be used when migrating hosts? I of course don't know how this would be done, but maybe in CivCRM admin area there could be a migration section. Before you migrate, you flag something saying that's what you're doing. This would put CiviCRM in a state that when you move hosts you could access a particular page which would ask you for your new database info, generate the new civicrm path, generate the new resource urls, and rewrite the settings file. Or even just some of these would be killer.
It just seems this would be sooo user-friendly that people couldn't help but love CiviCRM even more.
Totally ridiculous or does this have some potential?
