Description
If I:
1) create a Joomla user
2) create a matching Civi contact (same email address)
3) visit a frontend Civi profile page (view or edit) when logged in as user
>>> No match to the Civi contact is created the way it's supposed to.
The match IS created if I visit a Civi Dashboard page on the frontend. So it appears the mechanism that checks and matches contacts is broken for profile pages.
I'm not able to reproduce on the Civi Joomla demo because I don't have access to the User Manager tool to create a dummy user.
