Domain info no longer retrievable via API

In 2.1, I could call domain/get via the REST API to get a data structure with handy things like the name and address of the organization using CiviCRM (this used to be called the Domain information, and still is in the Admin tool, but probably that's not a good name for it anymore since that's being phased out).

Now the Domain class has been removed from the api/v2 directory (because the whole Domain concept is going away), but it would be nice if there were a way to still retrieve this information via the API. Especially if it were done in a forward-compatible way for the upcoming multi-org implementation (in which case it will become very useful to be able to retrieve info about the various organizations using the system).
