Imported Date in Custom Field Error

            Description

            Installation of CiviCRM 2.2.2 on Joomla 1.5.10. Created custom group (Lot Data) and custom fields for it (Lot Number, Parcel ID, Purchase Date, etc.) for us with Households type. Imported data into Households without error. When viewing Household, Purchase Date shows correctly (see attached screenshot #1). Clicking the Edit button for the Household brings up the date picker for this field with no year selected AND no years selectable except for the current year (see attached screenshot #2).
