Form elements lose chosen value if membership is saved with form errors

For my example, I created a custom data radio button and associated it with memberships through a profile. If you navigate to a contact, select create a new membership, and only click the radio button that I added (leaving everything else blank, so the form will raise an error), and click Save. When the page reloads to show the error, the radio button is no longer selected.

This can be troublesome when memberships have a lot of custom fields and you forget to fill out a required field before clicking Save.
