Description
Help for the "Update contact on a duplicate match?" setting says:
"If you are using this profile as a contact signup and editing form, OR in an online contribution page, OR in an event registration page - this option controls what happens if the data matches an existing contact record."
However this setting is ONLY used for contact signup and editing forms. For anonymous users - online contribution, membership signup and event registration forms always use the following behavior:
- Check for first matching contact in the DB (using default Strict contact matching rule - which is Email Address by default)
- If match found, use the matching contact for the transaction
Fix the help to reflect the actual behavior.
