Mass edit specififed field(s) across many selected users

I think it would be great to be able to select a number of entities, select the "mass edit" action from the actions pull-down, and click go. This would bring me to the contact summary page in "edit" mode, and any edits make would replace the values in the fields I edited for contacts I selected previously.
