Reported By field on a followup activity is incorrect when editing an activity and scheduling a followup

Create a case.
Log in as a different user.
Edit a prepopulated activity on that case and schedule a followup.
View the followup activity. It correctly says who it was "Created by" but it has the original case creator as the "Reported By" It should be the currently logged in user.
