Custom Data Field - Participant > Event Type

The recent improvements to custom data types for participants are great. I'd like to see an additional one where you can create a group assigned to participants for a specific event type. For example, there might be a series of fields you'd collect data on for conferences that are not applicable to seminars or training workshops.
