Stand alone form creates red "*" on line below field name

When creating a standalone form via CiviCRM Profile, required fields have a red "*" next to their field names.

However, that red star usually appears on the line below the field name. I've found that deleting the few spaces in the code between the field name and the red star fixes the issue and puts the star right next to the field name where it belongs, but I thought this might be a small bug worth a quick fix.
