Ability to order countries in country select dropdown

It is quite common on country dropdowns to have a few of the most common countries pulled out of the context of the list and placed right at the top. Currently the default country appears at the top of the list, but It would be a real pleaser if it were possible to alter the order of the rest of the countries. This would let us have much more usable country selectors.

eg.
