Improve user interface for registering additional participants for an event

            Description

            We've gotten feedback from site admins and integrators that the current interface for registering addtional participants is a bit confusing. Suggested improvement is to replace the "Register additional participants" button with a conditionally displayed dropdown field (default value = 1):

            "How many people are you registering for?" [ 1 v]
