Let the import contact process use the date formats in localization

I am trying to import a date field with the Dutch localization. The format of Dutch dates is 'day-month-year', in POSIX '%E-%m-%Y'. This format is default when exporting csv from Excel.

During importing contacts the closest thing is the format 'dd/mm/yyyy'. This means that a user always has to change the format manually to match the format.

I have tried to change the localization, but this does not affect the import field format.

I would like to have the date format supplied in the localization added to the date format options when importing.
