Year selector for relationship start and end dates

For the relationship start and end dates, the year drop-down selector on the date popup gives a choice from 20 yrs in the past and 20 yrs in the future. So, if I want a date in 1979 I can only go to 1989 and then I have to click the left arrow "Prev" button, month by month, until I get to 1979. I think that 30-40 yrs in the past and 10 yrs in the future would be a more useful choice. Or, let users type the date manually.
