Membership Summary report seems to be broken

            Description

            With sample data on demo (and in trunk) - this report doesn't return any records even when I enter This Year as the Date Range (and unselect the "Completed" status for Contribution).

            If I go to the member dashboard I can see that there are several memberships with Join Date in 2009 - so seems like report is broken ??
