Ability to log activities with participant search results

Hi there,
A great feature to add, would be the ability to add activities to a contact via the participant search ("Find participants") results page (just like from the regular contact search results page). At the moment it offers the ability to send them an email which is great, but the ability to log other activities to all the people on a specific event for instance, or people who came to events within a certain date range would be really useful

Is this possible?
