Bypass the 'Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?' Pup-up

When you are entering some information in the 'Details' text box, either in a CiviCase 'manage case' screen or in CiviCRM in a contact's 'activity' screen you are able to easily bypass the Pop-up that reads 'Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?' that is supposed to stop you from leaving the page and loosing all your typed information.
You can bypass this pop-up by simply entering a search phrase in the search box located in the black menu bar in the top left of the Civi screen and hitting enter quickly before the search box displays a drop down of results. No pop-up will appear and Civi processes the search.
