Description
Personally I greatly dislike all those spam preventers like reCAPTCHA... I find them annoying and some of them are so hard to decipher that it takes you three or four times to get it right!
I would like to suggest Bad Behavior 2 be incorporated into CiviCRM. You can check out the website here:
http://www.bad-behavior.ioerror.us/
It is HIGHLY succesful at preventing bots from even accessing your website... it is used as a WordPress plugin, and I have read posts about those that have ported it to Drupal. I also ported myself to phpList, and had one person that reported they went from 700 spams a day to 0 right after installation!
I am going to work on getting it up and running with my Drupal and CiviCRM installation and then post back whats required to get it working. If I am able I will also suggest a patch (this might be beyond my abilities though), but at a minimum I will at least give steps on how to do it.
