The poster's profile on demo didn't show up in the Batch Update select until I added an Individual type field to the profile. This changes the Profile type from "Contact" to "Contact/Individual" - and now I can use it in batch update.
This is not correct behavior. We should allow profiles with type = "Contact" to be used in Batch Update.
