Description
Under certain conditions, submitted a Drupal user/register form results in TWO CiviCRM individual contact records being inserted.
You can recreate easily on demo sandbox if DB / config hasn't been updated since today....
- Navigate to: http://demo.openngo.org/civicrm/drupal-php5/user/register. You should see the 2 drupal fields and a single civicirm profile custom checkbox field (Newsletter)
- Type in an unusual email address (drupal user form field) and check the Newsletter checkbox
- Now login as demo demo and search for the email address u entered. You will see TWO contact records.
This 'appears' to be related to case(s) where the additional user registration linked Profile does NOT have First and Last Name fields. If this is not the setup on demo when you go try it - then u can recreate locally by unchecking 'User Registration' for the sample Constituent Info profile and creating a new Profile w User Reg checked that has a single custom field in it.
