Description
Batch update via profile not working for Participants (Role) with Radio Buttons
See forum post: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,15501.0.html
Looks perhaps similar to this issue, but bug fix did not solve the issue: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,14973.0.html
Here are the steps to reproduce this on Sandbox:
1) Create New Custom Field Set
Set Name: Patrol Allocation
Used for: Participants (Role) - Volunteer
2) Create Three Custom Fields in the new Set
Field Label: Patrol Allocation
Data Type: Alphanumeric - Radio
Create three Multiple Choice Options: eg 1/2/3
3) Create New CiviCRM Profile
Profile Name: Update Patrol Allocation
Used For: Profile
4) Add Profile Fields
Add the Field Name: Participants-Patrol Allocation to the Profile
5) Update Participants
View Participants for the Fall Fundraiser Dinner.
Select a Volunteer Participant (eg Greg Jameson) and choose "Batch Update Participants via Profile" for the selected record
Choose Update Patrol Allocation
You will see that although the heading "Patrol Allocation" is visible, the Radio Buttons to change this field value are not visible.
If you repeat the exercise but Set the Custom Field Set to be used for "Participants", not "Participants (Role)" then the Update Participants via Profile works as intended.
