Disabled Events still show in event dropdown for backend create registration

on Demo - i set Fundraising to be disabled http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/manage&reset=1

then went to a contact to create a new Participant record http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/view/participant?reset=1&action=add&cid=102&context=participant

and the Fundraising event shows

so seems to be there on Create too.
