Search Builder Returns No Results For Searching Between Two Dates With Membership Expiration

When using the Search Builder to find Memberships with expiration dates between two dates, it doesn't seem to find any results. I would expect it to work the same as the Advanced Search where I set the range of End Date Start and End Date End, but this doesn't seem to be the case as the latter has results and the prior does not. This was tested on my local CiviCRM 3.1.3 as well as CiviCRM 3.3 Demo site (on 12/7/2010).
