Name not showing in civicrm contact summary when used in profile

Hi,

I created a profile and included following fields:

This profile is used for all "User Registration", "View/Edit User Account", and "Profile"

The problem is, it is behaving weardly. The above field values are not shown in contact summary (civicrm/contact/view?reset=1&cid=$cid) of that person in civicrm, instead sometimes email id is shown and one time it was blank. In case of blank i didnt even have link to goto contact summary page to view/edit its required. I had to type the complete URL byself of that person.
But the values are actually there. If i click on edit and goto "civicrm/contact/view?reset=1&action=update&cid=$cid" the values are there in their own fields. Now without changing anything when i click "save" and come back to "contact summary" , now everything is showing the way it should be.

is it a bug or am i using profile in wrong way.
