Auto renewal stuff no longer displayed

For membership types with optional auto-renewal configured for them and with displaying the option enabled on the membership settings for a contribution page, the options are not appearing. From irc discussion on Feb 24:

no idea why that change was made - will investigate w/ committer -
in my experiment - looks like if you remove single quotes around this string {$autoRenewMembershipTypeOptions} on line 146
