When I get a list of contacts and delete all the contacts in the list, the next action is an unnecessary search of all contacts which can take a lot of time

If I do for example a search of all contacts in trash, and then select the action 'permanent delete" with all the contacts it correctly deletes all the contacts. It immediately and automatically then does a search of all the contacts in the database, which can be a bit time consuming for no purpose. I would prefer to get an empty list with the message 'xxx contacts deleted'.
