check if column exists before adding when enabling a language

We've been working with a multisite with multi-languages - when enabling a language it fails because the table column exists already (due to it being enabled on another site).

Patch checks column exists before enabling it. checkFieldExists function had to be altered to allow i10n to be set to false so it could check the real column name
