When creating custom data group connected to ACTIVITIES of type SURVEY, the type selected is not displayed on Custom Data group page selector

I recreated on the drupal.demo.civicrm.org with Dave G.

When you create a custom data group connected to ACTIVITIES and select a TYPE (in my example I selected SURVEY), when you go bac to the Custom Data Group page, the TYPE for that new custom data group does not display on the selector (. Functionally, everything else is working and the type is actually saved.

If you look at the demo site, you can see my custom group: Survey Responses. I created an Alice Test Survey to test the workflow and everything seems to be working.

NOTE: This issue seems to be specific to certain activity types (Survey, Petition both trigger the bug). If I select "Meeting" - the activity type shows up. Might be some filter on pseudoconstant or ??
