CRM-801 Profile?s search doesn?t work

      Description

      1. Create a profile with some fields.
      2. Note the profile?s gid.
      3. Go to http://drupal/civicrm/profile?reset=1&gid=3 (changing the gid accordingly) ? there?s nothing between ?Find Contacts? and CiviCRM?s footer (i.e., the search form is missing).

          This is most likely because no field had any searchable option set etc or the Public User Pages and Listings flag set

          I double-checked, and all the fields are fully visible (and are to appear in the selector). I reproduced it on our PHP5 sandbox (note: the demo privileges are not enough to see this): http://sandbox.openngo.org/civicrm/drupal-php5/civicrm/profile?reset=1&gid=3

          so you also need to set "is_searchable" for a field to appear in the search box This was a frequent user request since their selector might be way more than what they want people to search on

          D?oh! I?m sorry. Guess I should?ve kept an eye on the non-CiviMail development more closely.

          Tested and it works as advertised (still no ?groups? column in the selector, but IIRC that?s a ?feature?). Closing.
