CiviCRM multi-values not working with views filters again

I believe this issue has returned in 3.4.2: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-7516

I have a custom Alphanumeric Checkbox field. The exposed filter doesn't return results where more than one of the checkboxes has been selected. For instance selecting "Veterans" will return only Contacts with "Veterans" as the only data. Contacts with both "Veterans" and "Couples" in the field will not be returned.

Select "Veterans" from Client Focus and click Apply button.
