Joomla menu creation allows "Personal Contribution Page" link to be created without a valid reference to a campaign

My problem is that I have a Joomla menu item of the type "CiviCRM:Personal Contribution Page" without a valid reference to a campaign, so that if a user creates a PCP with that link, SAVE does not seem to record it.

I think I may have created the Joomla menu item when there was no campaign in the system (but I cannot rule out the possibility that there was a valid campaign - at the time of menu item creation - which campaign I subsequently deleted)
