Description
The search / select contact widget used in Activity and Send Email forms (to select contacts) currently SELECTS a contact from the list as soon as you type a comma character. This is a usability issue, because the search results contain SORT NAMES which include commas - so you cannot filter on 'Smith, B' to select Bob Smith from a large group of Smiths.
Modify the plugin (jquery.tokeninput.js) to NOT select an item when comma key is pressed.

When adding a contact to an activity the search lookup field only displays 20 matching contacts.
One of our clients has 20,000+ individuals in their database and when they search for say 'Wendy Andrew' this contact would not come up if only one part of the name was used.
Previous to version 3.4.4 in this case they would search by display name using 'Andrew, we...' to find the contact.
A change in version 3.4.4 however means that when you type the comma in 'Andrew, we' this actually adds the contact currently highlighted in the search drop down automatically (so in this case as soon as the comma is pressed this would add the first contact with the last name 'Andrew'). This change will casue a real problem I think for organisatiosn usign CiviCRM who have large numbers of Indivdiuals. Practically it is now impossible to select Wendy Andrew as an Activity participant using the With Contact lookup.
I've not checked but I guess this also probably applies to 4.0.4 as well
