Update contributions via profile only updates some

The problem occurs when you do this:
1) Find contributions
2) Click the "all 92 records" radio button
3) Select "batch update via profile" from the drop-down
4) Update fields and click save.

Somewhere between step 2 and step 3, something gets lost and the profile doesn't actually display all 92 records. So if you're not paying attention, you might not notice that only 70 or so records are in front of you on the profile screen. You click update, thinking you've done the job, only to find out much later (in my case) that something is amiss.
If instead of clicking the "all 92 records" radio button, you select all 92 checkboxes on the page and click the "selected records only" button, things will work as expected.
