Tables in PDF receipt extend off the page

The default template for the online membership receipt has tables for the membership and contribution info at the bottom. It (and possibly others) has a width of 100% assigned to the table, and that seems to be relative to the page width, without regard to the margins set in the page format. The outcome is that the contents of the letter extend off to the side, sometimes off the page.

Removing all references to table width in the template fixes this, and I can make that change in the defaults if necessary, but it means that the membership information table no longer extends the full width. I don't know if there are strong design opinions about that.

I don't know enough about the PDF generator, but maybe there's a way to have it render the HTML as if the width is the box within the margins rather than the full width of the page. Even if this immediate issue of the receipts is solved by removing the widths, I imagine someone might want to write a PDF letter with an element that's the full width of the page within the margins.
