Search Builder Participant Fee Amount returns a blank value

I was trying to report on the amount people had paid towards an event and wanted to use Search Builder to report both what they had contributed and also the amount event cost. Selecting Participant -> Event = <event ID> and Participant -> Fee Amount != 0 yields blanks in the Fee Amount column returned by search builder.
