Donor report "add to group" doesn't work properly

I did the following:

-run the donor summary report with these settings:

• Display columns: contact name
• Group columns: contact id
• Filters: donation status, contribution type, aggregate amount

• Preview report, found 125 contacts

• Select a group and click "add to group"

• Result: 850 contacts added to the group.
