Merging should offer the option of viewing the resulting record

It would be very helpful to have an option when merging contacts to view the resulting record, which could then be further edited. So instead of just "Merge and next record" and "Merge and return to list", you'd also have "Merge and view result". The use case is that when viewing the records, I often notice issues that need to be fixed after doing the merge. Right now that's cumbersome, because I have to do the merge, then search for the contact, then edit.
