DASHLETS report instance = max id of report(s) based on template for Constituent Report (Detail)

Since upgrading to Drupal 7.7 and CiviCRM 4.0 hosted at CiviHosting.com (and possibly earlier versions) the (default?) report instance in each and every hyperlink of contacts in dashlets based on a Constituent Summary Report, becomes the ID# of the last (max) number of a user created report based on a template of Constituent Detail. Deleting the last report instance based on Constituent Detail, at first the hyperlink URL instance becomes empty (??) but then upon reload becomes instance 2 (the prepackaged default). This interferes with using the report feature as we have different reports and parameters desired but it displaces the default hyperlink results in our dashlets. Its as though we would have to dynamically reproduce the Constituent Detail report as the last instance any time we create an report instance based on the Consttuent Detail template. We tested it several times adding/deleting reports, testing dashlet urls.
